      HOT ROLLED PRODUCTS U. S. Steel Serbia, d.o.o. produces hot rolled products in a semi-continuous six-stand rolling mill, with a maximum width of 2,050 mm and weight up to 35 t. Modern equipment and technology combined with controlled rolling process provide quality products meeting world standards. TYPICAL END USE Cover products of steel general structural ones, low carbon and fine grained micro alloyed steels as well as the products for boilers and pressure vessels, shipbuilding, pipes and tubes, patterend products as well as the corrosion resistant ones. HOT ROLLED COILS AND SHEET MADE FROM STRUCTURAL STEELS FOR GENERAL RANGE OF APPLICATION  APPLICATION OF GENERAL STRUCTURAL STEEL PRODUCTS - In engineering industry for manufacturing of housings, structural components and other machinery parts; - In the industry of railroad vehicles, for manufacturing lateral sides, tank cars, etc; - In the motor-vehicle industry, for manufacturing supports, side parts, wheels and other elements; - For manufacture of tanks, pipes and open section profiles, columns and protective road fences, power-transmission line columns, and construction steel structures, bridges, containers, as well as for various metal-ware products. Note: U. S. Steel Serbia, d.o.o. is in the possession of TUV certificate. The certificate and Produc card stamped with U sign. HOT ROLLED LOW-CARBON STEEL PRODUCTS FOR COLD ROLLING AND DIRECT APPLICATION  APPLICATION OF LOW CARBON STEEL PRODUCTS - Processing by cold-roilling into cold rolled products, - Manufacturing of welded pipes, - Manufacturing of cold rolled sections for automotive industry, structural parts by cold shaping, and for manufacture of fittings, etc. FINE-GRAINED MICRO-ALLOYED STEELS  APPLICATION Steel that meet API-standard are applied in: manufacturing of welded peipes for pipelines, gaslines and oillines for work under high temperatures, with longitudal and spiral weld. Series x products are produced from microalloyed steels and are delivered conditioned (TM). Steel that meet and sew 092 and EN 10025 standard are applied in manufacturing of construction, parts and elements for railroad and road vehicle carriers, tanks, car cranes and other parts where reduced weight is the requirement or high resistance to britle fracture for bridge construction, as well as other steel that meet EN 101, used in architecture, construction, bridge construction. Prodution of micro alloyed steel with mechanical characteristics that are not regulated by the standard, has to be specially contracted. Guarenteed properties are for the Hot Rolled Strips only. Final product properties are dependent on customers' processing. HOT ROLLED PRODUCTS FOR BOILERS AND HIGH PRESSURE VESSELS BOILER STEEL  HOT ROLLED SHEETS FOR LIQUID AND HIGH PRESSURE DISSOLVED GAS VESSELS  APPLICATION OF HOT ROLLED PRODUCTS OF THIS TYPE OF STEELS - Manufacturing of steam boilers, high-pressure vessels, tanks, pipelines, and appropriate fittings, portable cylinders for liquid and pressure dissolved consisting of two or three parts. Those types of steel are suitable for shaping by drawing and welding. While contracting supply of steels shown in table BOILER AND BUTANE CYLINDER STEELS, it is neccessary to specify whether it will be rolled or scale-free pickled surface. PATTERNED PRODUCTS  Patterened hot rolled plates are made from general structural steels, in accordance with standards DIN 17100 or EN 10025 (as given in Table), and shape and sizes of hot rolled patterened plates are specified by standards DIN 59220. Patterened plates have patterns impressed on one of the surfaces, and the same can have the shape of rhombuses or tears. The plates are used in factory shops and structures for floors, platforms, staircases and treads. PLATES FOR SHIPBUILDING - NORMAL STRENGTHS  APPLICATION OF HOT ROLLED PRODUCTS OUT OF THESE STEEL GRADES - For all types of ship structures and other vessels which have to comply with the rules of Shipping Registers.
